Anne Featonby

Knitwear Designer - Hand - Fair Isle (stranded)
Teacher - Fair Isle (stranded knitting in the round)
Fair Isle Tam

Anne Featonby loves pure wool yarn - Jamieson's of Shetland yarns in particular. These yarns are spun from the fleece of the native Shetland sheep, processed in the Jamieson's Mill in Sandness, Shetland.
Fair Isle Detail

With almost 200 shades of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift yarn to inspire her, Anne likes to design traditional Fair Isle style stranded knit garments - with a modern outlook.

Anne had a stranded hat pattern published in the Fall 2009 Vogue Knitting Magazine. Her "Hibiscus Cardigan" was recently published by Simply Shetland and is available through your local yarn store.
